David Loughton

David joined The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust in 2004 having had extensive experience as a Chief Executive within the NHS. During his career he has developed a new Medical School with Warwick University and achieved financial close on a £400 million new hospital PFI.


He has now turned around one of the 17 most financially challenged Trusts in the NHS. Mr. Loughton is a member of the National Institute for Health Research Advisory Board and West Midlands Chief Executive representative for the NHS Confederation Council.
